Feature Wedding: Alejandra & Felipe | Melbourne, Australia.

Brook and I kicked around the idea of collaborating on an Australian wedding for some time before it finally happened. Brook was jumping outside of his usual line of photography work to shoot a wedding. So when Brook asked me along to support, I was there in a flash and by the end of the day, when the cake was reduced to crumbs, it was evident Aussies knew how to do weddings. A rustic countryside vineyard just outside of Melbourne set the scene for this summer wedding. From the moment we started documenting, you could feel the incredible love and adoration Alejandra and Felipe's friends and family had for them. The wedding party was a tight-knit crew who were very comfortable around each other and who knew how to do life together well. While Alejandra's bridesmaids were getting ready, the lads hit up their favourite local coffee shop for a classic Melbourne brunch. Once everyone was looking the part, we all packed into a custom VW Kombi van and legged it to the vineyard. Alejandra and Felipe married under a handmade floral wedding arch made by their friends; then later that evening Felipe melted everyone's heart as he and his besties sung to Alejandra. Perfection.
